I’m finally starting, yay. so far, all I have is a ball of wool and a loose plan, but I’ve started to get the ball rolling (get it, because I’ve made a ball of wool?). I’m making a needle felted/ ceramic piece about perfectionism and the mental and physical toll of it, so it’s important to get myself in the right headspace for this project.

I’ve gathered most of my materials at this point. My first coarse of action is to get the basic shape of my bunny out. This part alone will take a while, so it gives me time to decide on and commit to details and make any changes to my idea. I’m a bit afraid to decide on one idea, since this project will last the majority of the school year. I can’t be too spontaneous with this form of art, but I’ll try my best to incotpoate my expressive nature without straying too far from the original idea

By the way, here are the materials I’ve gathered so far! I set up a desk just because of this project. As you can tell, my main commending is fiber art. This should be lots of fun to make because needle felting is a very enjoyable process for me. I’m still nervous to tackle such a personal topic but excited too because of the media.
